Chapter 3

Jayla

"How you doing today beautiful?" Noah asked me.

"Good and how about yourself?" I questioned.

"Eh, alright I guess. We got a new student today though." Noah said.

"Is it a boy or a girl?" I said on instinct.

"Boy."

"Is he cute?"

"Ion look at other niggas. Look he in our first period you check him out for yourself." Noah laughed.

"You a half nigga so you can only say nig." I laughed.

We walked into first period and the new boy was sitting in the desk beside me.

"And you might get the chance to talk to him." Noah whispered.

"Nah, he seem like he go for them salad eating chicks. And look at me No, I like steaks." I whispered back.

"Can I have some of your steak?" Noah whispered making me laugh.

"Boy no." I walked to my desk and started doing my warm-up.

"Hey." The boy beside me spoke.

"Uh hi." I looked at him.

"I'm Jayvion." He smiled.

"Jayla."

"Jayvion and Jayla. That has a nice ring to it." He smirked.

"Does it now?" I laughed.

"Yeah. It does. So Jay, can I get your number?"

"I'll think about it Jayvion." I sat back in my seat as I listened to the teacher talk.

Jayvion was really attractive and I couldn't believe he was talking to a person like me. Let alone wanting my number. He was brown skin, around 6'5", hazel eyes, and had braces. He also had dimples, tattoos, and his swag was on point. Boy could dress! And his smile could melt butter. Speaking of butter, some kettlecorn sounds good right now.

Class ended and somebody's arm was around my neck. It was Jayvion.

"Can I help you?" I giggled.

"Yeah actually can you help me with my next class? You know I'm a new stuuuuudent." As he sang student, he handed me his schedule.

Where did this boy come from, like he is so goofy.

"Yeah lemme see what we got together." I smiled.

"Aight babygirl." He laughed.

I looked it over and saw we had every single class together.

"Good news and bad news. We have next period together." I said.

"What's the bad?"

"We have every class together after that too."

"That's not bad, you act like I'm ugly and I got dragon breath." Jayvion mugged me.

"You not ugly and you don't have dragon breath." I laughed.

"You think I'm cute?" Jayvion cheesed.

"Sure." I shrugged.

We walked to 2nd period and sat down.

Jayvion

Jayla is bae. She don't even know it yet but she is. The dude she was with this morning was mugging me but I know they not together by how she was talking to him and she didn't kiss or hug him at all.

I saw my brother Jason in class with us and Jayla was talking to some girl.

"Aye bro." I said to Jason.

"Whassup. Yo girl and my girl know each other." He laughed.

"Oh she ain't my girl yet. Introduce me though." I laughed.

"Aye Nicole this my brother Jayvion." Jason smirked.

"This my best friend Jayla." Nicole said.

"Now y'all acquainted, how bout we hang out after school?" I suggested.

"Yeah at Jayla's house?" Nicole suggested.

"Why my house?" Jayla laughed.

"Because it's the closest stop." Nicole made up a quick excuse.

"You do realize I live across town, right?" Jayla laughed.

"So? Can we come? Or nah? You tryna fuck? Or nah?" Jason said, making us laugh.

"Yeah you can come but I ain't tryna fuck." Jayla smiled.

Yessss I get to chill with bae today.

After school

We pulled up at Jayla's house and this shit was huge, but she wasn't the only one on the block.

"You guys can sit ya stuff in the living room. Are you hungry?" Jayla asked.

"Nah, I'm good ma." I smiled.

"I'm cool, I'll let you know what I want to eat." Jason stated.

"Aight follow me." We followed her upstairs, but Nicole was in the kitchen finding something to eat and on the phone.

"This yo room?" I asked, admiring her posters of Drake, Pac, August, and Lauryn.

"Yep." She smiled.

"Yo this shit dope as hell!" Jason dapped her up.

"Thanks my nigga." She laughed. "You and my best friend gone get along real well."

"Bruh why you talking like that? Talk to them like you would talk to me." Nicole said with her mouth of chips.

"I am." Jayla shrugged. "Ion want these niggas thinking I'm some ghetto female who doesn't know proper English."

"Bitch that ain't make no kinds of sense!" Nicole exclaimed making us laugh.

The doorbell rung and Jayla went to answer it.

"So you like my best friend?" Nicole asked.

"I mean shawty cute, I can see myself wifing her up sooner or later." I smiled.

"I see you lil homie." Nicole laughed.

"So what's up with you and my bro?" I asked.

"Nothing." They said at the same time and smiled.

"Uh huh." I nodded my head.

Then we heard Jayla yelling at someone downstairs so we ran down there.

Some minor changes but Wattpad was effing me up y'all.
