Allison's POV:

Scott and I sat in silence in my room, his hand interlocked with mine as he brushed his thumb across the back of my hand.

"I'm sorry," I whisper, ashamed at the fact how I treated him, Olivia, everyone I cared for a lot. They were all trying to be there for me but I pushed them all away.

"You don't have to say you're sorry." He responds but I shake my head.

"I do. I have to." I look up and see he had a small smile. "For what I did, what I said...everything. Especially for what I have to do now."

"It's okay."

"No, it's not."

"It is."

"Scott, I'm trying to break up with you." I look down with my eyes closed, not wanting to see his reaction. "I almost kissed Olivia."

Instead of him pulling his hand away and yelling at me for being a shitty person, he keeps it interlocked and squeezes it in comfort.

"I know." He simply responds and I open my eyes but with my eyebrows furrowed.

"How?"

"Ever since Olivia came into town, you seemed more...happier whenever she was in the room or the topic would be about her." He explains. "Especially when I said 'I love you' to you for the first time, you never said it back to me. I thought it was too early for us to say it to each other, but after tonight...now I know why you never said it."

"Scott—"

"You didn't truly love me, at least not yet." He interrupts me which causes my heart to clench since it was true. "I figured."

I look down in shame once more. "I'm so sorry."

"It's okay."

"No, it's not." I scoff. "How is that okay?"

"Because with us breaking up, you get to be with someone else that'll make you happier." He says as he pulls his hand away from mine and puts his hands in his pockets.

"What are you talking about?"

"Come on, Allison. A new girl comes to Beacon Hills and you don't think it's fate?"

I shake my head. "There's no such thing as fate."

He gives a small shrug. "There's no such thing as werewolves."

I look at the floor but feel his hand cup my cheek, wiping the tear that fell away from my eye and places his hand on his knee.

I lean forward to peck his cheek and pull away as he proceeds to get up from the bed.

As he walks to my door to leave my room, my dad walks in and sits down where Scott previously sat.

He wraps his arms around me and I lean my head against his shoulder.

"Did you two...?" He trails and I nod solemnly. "I'm sorry."

"It's okay," I mumble as he rubs my arm comfortingly. "He knew that we had to."

"What about Olivia?" He softly asks.

I sigh. "I don't know."

Olivia's POV:

"Alright Mieczyslaw, this is take one of starting your training," I say as I held my Hasselblad camera out to film Scott and Stiles. We all get out of the Jeep once we stop by the lacrosse field.

"Don't call me that!" Stiles rolls his eyes. "Scott, I can't believe you told her my name."

"She's one of us, I had to tell her," Scott says, laughing at Stiles' angered expression. "Now I'm starting to like the idea of saying yes on you helping me out with Stiles." He teases as they get their gear from the trunk. "I have someone I know that can mess with Stiles with me."
