I couldn't help but wonder how long we had to keep this going, the I cant touch her pretext cause she's hung up on who I am. Who she truly wants, wishes were still alive is Grayson. Even if I pretend it's not something tells me it is.
I get that we have a murderer amongst our mist but can we be certain their within the school walls? Plotting against us. Or that their true goal is me?
If my own subjects want me dead what reason would that be? They've never truly even meet me if anything I'm but a black shadow, hidden within my own family walls.
"Lost in thought?" Veronica asked as we walked in silence along the cold empty halls.
"Yeah, walking in silence does that...alot." Veronica added.
Sighing "yeah." I said trying to keep my self from revealing my true thoughts.
Once we finished security guard duties. Which they should really hire someone with the actual skills for these sorta jobs not a high school teacher that can be easily targeted by these savages.
Everything about these current events felt like a small trap to lure the higher ups out. It's almost as if word has come out that the Heir is in school. But no one knows who to lynch.
The bigger question I had right now was Madison. What was her involvement in all of this? Why target a human.
