Third Person's POV

"Luciano, stop it please." Iyak ng ginang sa hallway ng hospital habang yung asawa naman nito ay walang awang sinusuntok ang anak. Na walang magawa kundi ang saluhin lahat ng sakit.

"I can still take you being...gay! But this time, I will never tolerate this! If something happen to your wife and your child. I swear to god, I will disown you." Sabi nito at malakas na sinutok kaya napaupo ito sa malamig na sahig ng hospital.

"Dieu! (God!) I'm begging you, stop hurting him already." napahawak sa dibdib ang ginang sa sakit na nararamdaman para sa anak niya. Alam nitong nasasaktan din sya sa nangyayare, kung meron man dito sa kanila ang nasasaktan ng sobra, siya yun.

Agad nitong nilapitan ang anak na dumudugo ang labi at kanina pa iyak ng iyak.

"Mon Fils. (My son.)" Iyak nito at pinahiran ang dugo sa labi niya.

"Mom...I am scared....My wife...I didn't mean to hurt her...I...love her so much, mom...I don't----"

"Hush! I know, I know. She'll be ok." She assured him at iyakap ng mahigpit. Awang awa siya sa kalagayn ng anak niya. Walang ina'ng gustong makitang nasasanktan ang anak nila and seeing his son like this breaks her heart.

"Rouge...I'm sorry." Kanina pa nito binabanggit ang pangalan ng asawa at hingi ng tawad kahit hindi naman siya nito naririnig.

"Who's the family of the patient here?" Tanong nung kakalabas na doctor sa ER. Agad namang napatayo ang mag ina at tumakbo si Lucas para salubungin ito.

"How is she? I'm her husband. Please tell me how is she, how's our baby?"

"They are both ok." Napahinga ng maluwag ang mga ito lalo na si Lucas sa narinig.

"But...the mother is in a lot of stress, meaning she is in a high risk of miscarriage. For now we'll let her rest since she badly needs it. I will follow up with her tomorrow." Sabi nito and excused himself to attend another patient.

"Thank God she's ok!" Nakahingang maluwag ang mommy nito ganun din ang daddy niya.

Lucas' POV

She's been sleeping for almost ten hours. I stayed awake for whole night just to watch her. I wanna see her when she wakes up, I don't wanna leave her side.

She's sleeping peacefully, her face is much lighter and little pinkish unlike kagabi na ang putla niya. For some reason she looks very pretty kahit tulog na tulog ito. In fact she's the prettiest woman that I have ever seen. I mean she's always been pretty but today is much different.

No doubt, I love this woman. What happened last night made me realized that I love her. I don't know since when but it doesn't matter anymore as long as I am sure that I love her.

I caress her tummy to feel our baby. I'm going to be a father soon. This joy I am feeling is overwhelming.

"Why did you not tell me that you are pregnant?" I asked her even tho I know she won't hear me. I'm not mad at her for keeping it a secret from me, I'm a little upset but then I think she has the right to hide it from me dahil nga sa puro sakit lang ang nabigay ko sa kanya nitong mga nakaraan.

"Hi baby. It's me daddy. I'm sorry if I hurt your mom. I hope that she can forgive me." I lean forward and kiss her tummy. Sabi ng doctor she is pregnant for 9 weeks na that means 2 months and few days na. Kaya pala naabutan ko siya nung isang gabi na pumapapak ng pickles. I was actually baffled why was she eating pickles, alam ko kasing hate niya ito. She doesn't eat pickles before kaya laking gulat ko ng makita syang kumakain ng isang jar.
