I can't believe that's Darkspur finished - well, as finished as it's going to get any time soon.
Yes, it's a bit rough around the edges and yes, the grammar leaves a lot to be desired at points but as the first thing I've ever written I'm still extremely proud of it.
I had no idea when I started writing a short story for my son over a year ago that it would turn into a 90k word novel and to tell the truth, there's no-one more surprise than myself that I've actually finished the bloody thing.
If you have made it this far, thank you so much for hanging in there, you deserve a medal and if I ever see you in the pub the drinks are on me. I hope you enjoyed it and again, thank you for reading.
