The TARDIS again. The doors have been closed. And the Sigma is in the corner, fiddling with her Vortex Manipulator.

Doctor:

Right. The action isn't over yet. The Cybermen are still probably swarming across the Earth, or at least North Hampshire.

The TARDIS begins to dematerialize, the column sliding up and down.

Lust:

You should know the Cybermen better than that, Doctor.

Doctor:

Oh do be quiet dear Lust. You really should stop fiddling with that contraption. It doesn't work anymore.

Lust:

You don't know that until you've tried!

Doctor:

We've wasted enough time rushing around the universe just to pick you up!

Peri:

Lust, what has this potion done to you exactly?

Lust:

Given me the powers I need to fight off the Cybermen. My powers will wipe out all Cybermen.

Peri:

And they convert you into a Cyberman, before or since you took the Mantris Potion?

Lust:

Even riskier because of how powerful and dangerous if I am. Doctor, we are going back to Earth?

Doctor:

Yes. Are we two good, Lust?

Lust:

Yes. Yes we are.

Doctor:

Good. I never like fallouts. Especially on my TARDIS.

Peri:

So Lust, we can use your powers to destroy the Cybermen, right?

Lust:

What are you saying Peri?

Peri:

Well...

Lust:

Oh no you're not! I can't face them again.

Doctor:

Lust you must!

Lust:

No. I'm not going back on Telos! I'm not going back there! I can't!

Doctor:

You did it before, so you can do it again!

Lust:

NO!

The Doctor approaches her carefully.

Doctor:

Listen, Lust, all you have to do is to remember. Remember the pain, the agony, the horror of your people. Remember the agony and suffering they went through. Remember the nightmare they've been when they have been converted into Cybermen! Your family! Your father! Your mother!

Her fists are clenching! Her powers are returning, angrily.

Peri:

Doctor, Doctor stop it!

Doctor:

And they turning into Cybermen! Their emotions removed and their brains planted into metal suits! And they're coming to hunt you! Hunt you and turn you into one of them! And you run! Run cowardly away! You and you're cowardly race! RUNNING! AND RUNNING! AND RUNNING!

She blows the massive red, orange wave of energy again. BOOM! The Doctor is exploded back onto the console, hitting his back at a phenomenal speed as he falls down to the ground. The Sigma calms down now, her powers fading away again. The Doctor recovers.

STOP! STOP! Before you utter another word or speak another syllable you must remember that feeling when fighting off the Cybermen. I was only just testing you to show you how to use your powers!

Peri:

Doctor that was cruel! CRUEL!

Doctor:

Look, Lust...

Lust:

Yes Doctor. I understand! I understand what must be done!

There is a long pause of silence again.

Doctor:

Good. Well now, as we all calm down a little I would say that James has been a little quiet, hasn't he? And he would like to tell you something.

James zones back in, joining back into the conversation.

James:

Wait, sorry, I stopped listening until the shouting.

Doctor:

Aren't you going to tell her? Or would you rather me shout it out?

James:

No, no! You don't need to do that. Alright, Lust, may I talk to you in there.

They then exit through the door that leads deeper into the TARDIS.

Lust:

What's wrong?

James:

Well, you see, I'll come out straight...

The Doctor and Peri stand by the console, the side closer to the door.

Peri:

What does he want to say?

Doctor:

Just a fifty-fifty chance. Well as long as there's no hanky panky in the TARDIS!

Whilst the other side of the door...

James:

Well, you see... I... like you.

Lust:

I know.

James:

Do you?

Lust:

Yep. I can read your thoughts.

James:

Well... I can't really think of anything else to say... So...
