Mason

I was enjoying eating Christmas cookies while Miles stared at me grumpily, whilst we were decorating the tree.

"You're the worst best friend I've ever had." He muttered, angrily placing an ornament on a branch.

"Hey, it's not my fault you were planning on drugging and taping me up."

"It was just precautionary."

I shrugged and bent over to open another box of ornaments. "It's still rude."

"No, what's rude is you telling Mom! I didn't even use them."

"Well, maybe next time you'll think twice." I smirked.

"Well, maybe next time you'll think twice." He mocked.

"Is someone having a bad day?" I smiled, looking up to see Grayson walking towards us. His eyes widened in shock as he saw me. "Oh, uh, Mason, you're here."

Confused, I nodded. "Uh, yeah. Is there something wrong?"

"Oh, no. No, nothings wrong."

"You sure?"

He nodded, giving me a tight lipped smile. "What's got your panties in a twist?" He smiled, turning to Miles.

"Why don't you ask my evil supposed best friend."

Grayson looked to me confused. "Miles is just grumpy because he can't have any Christmas cookies."

"Yeah, why don't you tell him why I can't."

"Because I told on him."

"Told on him for what?"

Smirking, I turned towards him. "Miles, why don't you tell your boyfriend what you were planning on doing?"

"I told you it was just precautionary."

Perplexed, Grayson looked to me for answers. "Apparently, Miles volunteered to come and try to convince me to come over. Which, I obviously I agreed to; however, the evil little boy revealed that he had brought sleeping pills and duct tape just in case I didn't agree because he needed his cookies. I just so happened to let it slip to Isabella of what he had done and she told him he wasn't allowed to have any cookies until after dinner."

"No, no, no. She told me that I could maybe have one cookie. One damn cookie because you're being a butthole."

"You're the one who planned to drug me."

He scoffed, waving me off. "You would've been fine. I need a break. Come on Gray, let's get away from this traitor." Grabbing Grayson's hand he started to pull him in the direction on the stairs but Grayson stayed put.
