First of all, I want to say thank you for clicking on my book in the first place. 

I'd like to say that this book is a work of fiction. That being said, nothing in this book is true. Anything that happens to pertain to real life is a mere coincidence. I'd also like to say that the actions and behaviors of the characters do not represent my thoughts or beliefs. They are simply characters that I've created from my very own imagination. 

The characters aren't meant to be perfect, they're supposed to irritate you and piss you off. They're supposed to make you feel things whether those feelings be good or bad. With time they'll grow. 

Another thing, 

Alex is an asshole. That's the whole premise of his character. He's not some lovey, sweet character the constantly dotes on girls. He's not going to change his ways over time. He is who he is and though he might stop being such an a-hole some of the time, he'll never be Noah from the Notebook. So I'd just like to prepare you for that.
