Before I met Jacob I had never shared a bed with anyone, not even my brothers or my cousins when we would have sleepovers or go on family vacations. Last night I couldn't get to sleep because he wasn't beside me. I've gotten so used to feeling his arms around me keeping me warm and safe that apparently now I can't sleep without him.
I heard my dad leaving for his morning work out so I decided to get up and head over to Grandmas to see Jacob but apparently Aunt AJ, Chris and Jacob have joined my dad and his brothers for the morning run. So instead Grandma and I are baking and making breakfast for when they get back.
"Here." Grandma says as she places a huge book on the counter
"What's this?" I ask as I pick it up and open it. Inside the first page Grandma has written a message
Molly, you can do anything you set your heart on, I've always been proud of you and I know you'll succeed in life. Here are all of my recipes, I know your bakery will be amazing. Now go and be the powerful successful Johnson woman I know you are.

"Oh this is amazing!" I gasp as my vision blurs with the tears forming. Grandma pulls me in for a hug
"Thank you so much." I mumble against her shoulder
"Anything for my favourite grandchild. You're smart, you're beautiful and I know you'll be successful." She smiles as she pulls back, she wipes a tear from my cheek before adding "You'll always be my Molly May, I'm gonna miss you but I'm damn proud."
"Molly, what's happened?" I turn and see Jacob charging towards me
"Nothing, happy tears." I smile as I pick up the book to show him
"I would hug you but I'm all sweaty." He smiles as he wipes his forehead with the back of his forearm
"Yes you are." I facepalm when I realise I said that out loud whilst checking him out and he chuckles
"How come you went running with my dad?" I ask changing the subject
"Honestly I think he wanted to see if I could keep up with the soldiers." He smirks
