the world owed prudence larson. it owed her the family she lost and the sanity she was trying so hard to find. it owed her the time it forced her away from her friends. and it owed her the happy ending she so greatly deserved. the world also owed damien moon. for his shitty mother, absent father, and the fact that he was gay. and, also, because he was in love with his best friend.
but, in reality, the world just wasn't done taking. first it would take their innocence. then it would take their first loves. then it would take their lives. unless the ragtag group of friends could defeat a psychopath clown by the name of pennywise, save derry, and in turn take back what the world owed them.
and that is exactly what they planned to do.
