i start walking my way back to ochako. i keep feeling stares being pushed into my back. trying to ignore them as i look for my lovely girlfriend.
i walk by the bathroom and i hear... muffled crying? i walk in and ask to whoever the female is, "you okay, kero?"
i don't get a verbal response rather than one of the door quickly unlocking and opening. out runs ochako with tears running down her face and unevened breathing.
"hey, hey, ochako, relax. i'm here. i won't leave," i say as i pet her hair, also bringing her closer to me. she hiccups non-stop (AFTER THE WAR I WENT BACK TO NEW YORK! A-AFTER THE WAR I WENT BACK TO NEW YORK! I FINISHED UP MY STUDIES AND I PRACTICED LAW! i practiced law burr worked next door. imma stop now. sorry BIG hamilton fan (aka knowing non-stop by heart with all their other songs)). i whisper sweet nothings into her ear. she just clings onto me.
"what happened, ochako?"
