I ended spending the night in the office and so did Alessandro but in the morning when I continued to give him the silent treatment he went home showered and came back with a change of clothes for me.

It was a comfy white sweater, plaid pants, and black velvet loafers. I ended up throwing my hair up in a messy bun hoping it would look deliberate. In the bag he brought which contained makeup wipes and a lipstick.

I left him a little thank you note with a heart on his computer. I still love him unconditionally but I refuse to break this no talking spell until I've successfully fulfilled this client. That sounded like something a hooker would say but what I mean is just taking care of them. Jesus. I am not making this any better.

After I changed I checked my emails in which I found one confirming one coffee date in which could potentially tie up this business deal.

Before walking out I leaned over Lola's desk to see her intensely writing in Alessandro's calendar.

"Lola, can you tell Mr. Sanchez that I've gone out on a coffee meeting with my recently acquired client." I worked on that sentence for five minutes and it still doesn't sound right. I looked at my watch. "In 15 minutes preferably," I added. With that, I smiled and walked happily to the coffee shop down the street.
