"Watch how I'll beat the asses of you two brats if you don't get your goddamn cupboard clean within tonight!"

12 o' clock. Midnight. Dinner done. Everbody was idly working something - granny was on the bed, preparing for sleep, Neall was probably about to sit for study, I was also planning to turn some pages of a random novel. All at once came The Mom's threat!

Although it was not unexpected. It's not like we were startled either. My final school exam was over on 27th May, exactly three months from now. Since then my mom had been warning us to get the dignity of our slum-like-slovenly cupboard back. What else! Let's get to work.

I had been worrying about them, currently missing. I was sure they were somewhere in my room, but where?

The only good side of tidying your cupboard is that various missing items can be retrieved. But it's a really laborious task for a lethargic like myself.

Scrabbling the books and papers and copies and all inside the cupboard, suddenly few papers touched my fingers. I had correctly sensed them. A shiver ran through my body. Somehow with extra movements, finding my mom unaware, in a corner of the cupboard, I placed them, those letters.
