Chapter 6: A New Place To Eat

Two weeks later once the boys had time grieve. Bucky went to the classroom but he didn't find Charlotte. He went to Coulson's office "Am I off probation?" He said

"No..but because of what happened with Ms Baylor. She has decided to step away." Coulson said

"So what am I suppose to do now?" He said

"Figure it out. I have no other tutors available." Coulson said

"Okay then.." Bucky said and walked out.

He found the boys as he lit up a cigarette. "Well Ms Baylor is no longer going to be tutoring me. I have to figure this out by myself" he said

"What? She quit.." Deacon said

"Yeah." He said

They gathered in Deacon's truck. "Where to boys? Bdubs Joe's Crab Shack..Panthers Bar and Grill.." he said

"Im thinking a new place boys.." Bucky said

"What are you suggesting Barnes?" Carter said.

"Im thinking we pay Ms Baylor a visit. So lets go see her at the diner." He said

"Burgers do sound good." Weston said

Deacon drove them to the diner. They walked in and found them a corner booth. They started to look over the menu. Charlotte walked out and dropped her tray when she saw the boys. Delilah came to her "baby you okay?" She said

"Yeah Im sorry I..um mom may I please go home." Charlotte said

"Baby you know that you cant. I will take care of this. Go take care of those boys that just came in." She said

"But mom I.." Charlotte said

"Go.." she said

Charlotte swallowed hard as she walked over to them. "Hi My Name is Charlotte what can I get for you all?" She said as she her hand shook.

"Well Ms Baylor..I would like a bacon cheeseburger with a side of fries and a chocolate shake. " Bucky said

She wrote it all down along with the others orders. She walked off Bucky shook his head "god she is such a nervous nellie when it comes to boys.." he said

Deacon let out a laugh.

"Ive heard its the quiet ones that make the most noise in bed." Weston said

"I know I heard that too." Bucky said as he chewed on a straw.

They all got their burgers and fries. They ate their burgers and drank their shakes. Once they were done they left without leaving a tip.

She rolled her eyes as she cleaned up their table. Delilah relieved her and she went home to their three bedroom duplex. She did her homework then went to bed. All while the boys were at the lake house partying it up.
