I Love you

Josie's POV
—
"OH MY GOD." We all gasp as we are pulled from Cleo's memories.
"What the hell was that?!" Cleo breathes out alarmed.
"You're...a...princess." Hope says with a shocked look.

"I am." Cleo breathes out once more.

"I think you should talk to your father about this Hope." Kol says kissing me on the head.
"Come on." Kol whispers as he takes Freya out with him.

"Sooo you're a-a princess." I Stutter.
"Apparently." Cleo says sitting up.
"I Don't— I mean— what?" Cleo splutters.
"Well find out more okay, Cleo." Hope says.

"You're also part angel I think." I blurt.
"Angel?" Cleo questions in disbelief.
"So I'm like a tribrid, like y-you Hope." Cleo says.
"I suppose so." Hope replies.
"Cool." Cleo chokes.

Tears start to stream from Cleo as she sobs into her hands.

"Cleo." I say.
We both sit beside her.
"What's wrong?" I ask quietly.
"I thought I had no one when your dad found me. I thought I was going to be alone out in the world and n-now I found out I'm part of a royal bloodline and I have a father." Cleo sobs into my sleeve.

"Well you're not alone okay, you have us, you have Lizzie, my dad, Rafael too." I say hugging her.
"I forgot about Rafael." She cries out.
"Why would you need to remember him?" Hope questions.

"I kinda kissed him." Cleo whispers into my sleeve.
"I-I'm sorry didn't quite catch that." Hope says wide eyed.
"You kissed Raf, did you kiss him or did he kiss you?" I ask her.
"He did." She smiles.

"I think you need a little more rest Cleo, I think we need rest too." Hope says.
"I love you guys." Cleo whispers as I close her door.
"We love you too." I reply.

We sit at the dinner table with Hope's family while Cleo sleeps upstairs.

"Soo, the new moon alignment." I dropped the bomb.
"Where did you hear that dear?" Klaus asks.
"Oh I- um." I stutter.
"Elias's baby is upstairs in Nik's room." Freya says for me.
"That's Elias's daughter." He says.
"Shouldn't she be in the kingdom?" Klaus says shocked.

"Well she has no memories of being royal." Kol says.
"Well we should pay a visit to there then." Klaus suggests.
"I don't think we should actually." Hope says.

"Why not?" Klaus asks.

"She's been through a lot already, maybe we can go when she's ready." Hope says.
"Fine, but I think you three should return back to camp." Klaus says.

"We will, tomorrow." Hope says.

Hope and I lay in the bed resting together. Our arms and legs tangled together.

"You're so pretty." I ponder out loud.

"I'm flattered." Hope jokes.

Hope's POV

We lay there staring into each others eyes. Big brown eyes staring back at me.

Living in the moment. That's what I'm doing. I don't know what trouble is to come now, it's been too quiet since malivore and L-Landon.
Turns out immortal beings aren't always immortal.

Life's too short so I'm going to say it.

Three words only.

"Josie I love you." I say in a blur.

"You what?" Josie says in a Hush voice.

"Life's too short you know and I-I want to do a lot of things before dying and I want to live in the moment. Being with you is living in the moment for me and- Josie Saltzman I love you." Before I can say anything else familiar lips crash onto mine.
