"Yes, whoever comes for me may very well come for you. But they may also come through you, Marcellus. Remember that." Klaus leaves me to continue to heal Marcel.

"He's angry please don't allow that to hurt your relationship." I say as I finish siphoning the bite.

"He's always been moody. This time he's..."

"The prophecy has him worried more than he will like to admit. He was paranoid before he's borderline insane now."

"How are you doing with it all?"

"It's been hard but...we're making it through alright. This baby I had hoped would come into the world on better terms but...with this talk of this damn prophecy every moment, I fear my children will always be born in times of danger and sadness."

"Like we protected Hope we will all protect this new baby." Marcel says and I smile at him.

Marcel left to head home while I headed downstairs to hear what Alexis has to say. "I'm sorry. I hoped I was wrong, Lucien. I really do." Alexis has tears in her eyes. "But I saw it. I saw him die."

"Did you see the weapon?" Lucien asks her. "What is it?"

"To understand, it must be seen." She holds her wrist out for Hayley and Elijah to take. Alexis' gasp and blood pouring from her nose and mouth. Elijah and Hayley gag on her blood vomiting from it.

"Somethings wrong."

"It's poison." Elijah declares. Lucien rushes to Alexis' side helping her but it's far too late to help her. The poison has already taken over.

"No!!! no..." Lucien holds her as she dies in his arms. Now we may never know the rest of the prophecy.

Elijah's POV

I walk out on the balcony and so does Hayley from her apartment. Hope's soft snores could be heard. "I finally got her to sleep. Sofia was kind enough to help set up a room for her when she's allowed to stay the night."

"I'm glad you and Sofia are on speaking terms again. It was much too hard seeing you two hate one another."

"We are very passionate and strong wild individuals. We've hurt one another in the worse ways possible but she could have killed me and every one many times but...she despite our differences towards one another has welcomed me back into her life."

"You and Sofia have shared a special bond."

"Being in our situation it's hard not to."

"I'm happy to hear Hope is having her family back together again to see her grow and flourish."

"Sofia will have to explain this family to Hope, someday."

"What do you think?"

"Sofia won't lie to her daughter and depending on how she wants to raise her I will not lie to her as well. But you know what I'll start with? Always and forever." I smile hearing this from her. "Sofia said that we're family and I've grown to understand that the saying means more than words. Sofia told me when she wakes Hope and puts her to bed she always starts and finishes with always and forever."

"I'm sorry Hayley. I should've told you what was happening."

"You made him, right? Tristan?"

"I think it would be more accurate to say we made each other. But yes I turned him. And what was your impression of Tristan de Martel?"

"I don't know. He seemed...incomplete."

"He has a sister. Aurora to be perfectly frank with you, I'm surprised that he's without her. His devotion to her is absolutely pathological. He's dangerous."
