Assalamu Alaikum warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu.

**************************

I was new to the school and

Everybody was new to me

My words were limited to "good morning” and a “hello” with a smile

Once I was in the physics lab

An unexpected incident happened

I heard somebody was whispering beside me

Suddenly sir got up from his seat and called a girl

“Why did you laugh at me” he asked

“No I didn’t sir” she replied

He scolded her in an indecent manner

Everybody was staring at them

That was the first day I saw her

She cried a lot and left the place very soon

After this incident I didn't see her for couple of days

She didn’t attend for the lectures too

Once I was passing the school ground, it started to rain heavily

I quickly ran towards the pavilion

I saw her again; she was sitting in the middle and rounded with all her friends

They were laughing and recalling their sweet memories

But she looked so different, she was not happy at all

Her legs and face were swollen, she was smiling but it was a fake smile

I tapped one of the girls and asked why she is okay?

“No she has a blood cancer”

She just smiled at me and I did the same

She was a normal girl till last couple of weeks but today

She was suffering from a deadly disease

After three days I heard that she has passed away

I attended for the funeral, I couldn’t hold my tears

Even though I was not close to her I felt so sad on the moment

A valuable life has gone just because of this cancer

This is a true story which was happened 5 years ago. I was there with her on the moment and I felt very sorry for her.

There is a student in my school who looks like her (a carbon copy of that girl), every day when I see that face it used to remind of her
