Louis currently stood inside of Harry' bedroom.

Their bedroom.

It had been two hours since the commotion had died down. Two hours since Harry was taken away from him.

Two hours since his heart had been broken.

The officers had eventually taken the cuffs from off of  him after naively thinking that he'd calmed down, which was absolutely false in every way possible. Louis had just managed to hide his emotions and bottled them up inside of him; though, now they had been ready to explode and Louis didn't know how much longer he'd last.

There was only one police car still outside, at stand and waiting for Louis to finish redressing himself along with collecting his belongings.

The officer had also apologized to Louis due to witnessing what his other colleague had did to the boy, but Louis couldn't have cared less about the man' shitty apology; knowing that he had other things to worry about, rather than the red hand print that still lingered on his cheek.

Louis sighed, shakily, as he sat himself down onto the edge of their bed.

Instantly, memories came flooding back. Memories of Louis giving himself to Harry and them finally bringing themselves together as one, as they loved each other in a newfound way; not knowing that sharing that moment would be their first, and last.

Tears threatened to fall from Louis' eyes but he'd been quick to blink them back and sucked in a shaky breath before placing his hands onto his knees and squeezing until his knuckles turned white.

"Breathe." He coaxed himself, mentally.

He shifted slightly and had been about to place his head in his hands until the buzzing sound of his phone vibrating in his back pocket, caught his attention. Sighing, he swiftly grabbed the device and checked the caller ID only to bite his lip, nervously before answering.

"Louis." Zayn sighed out, in relief.

The smaller boy felt the pain in his chest ease slightly from the comforting sound of his best friend' voice; only clutching his phone tighter.

"Z-Zayn?" He choked out.

He let his eyes flutter shut for a moment when hearing Zayn' soft voice reassure him that he was there. It was silent afterwards, for a moment before the Bradford boy finally spoke up, again.

"Oh, Lou. I'm so sorry." He whispered.

Louis bit down onto his lower lip harshly to stop it from quivering and couldn't find the right words to respond with, so Zayn took it as a sign for him to continue.

"Um, y-your parents." He paused, sighing. "They called mine, and they sounded really worried—"

"Don't." Louis interrupted, quietly. "Please. J-Just, don't."

Zayn sighed gently and let another pause of silence come over their conversation until he heard Louis speak up, in a soft and broken voice that pained the dark-haired boy ' heart.

"He's gone."

Zayn frowned sadly, on the other side of the phone.

"He'll come back, Lou."

Louis heard that and felt the the tears that he'd been struggling to hold back for the last hour, begin to shed from his eyes.

"I-I watched it, Zayn." He hiccuped. "They— they t-tased—"
