A/N: Finally got this chapter out to you guys, I hope you enjoy it! Also, I'm going to change the way how I write how character's interact so it's a little bit more clear as to who is talking.

Y/N = your name

Year X777

[Y/N POV]

I woke up to the sun shining through my eyelids. I looked around wondering where Elementium was, but I figured he was out hunting for food. Seeing as there's not much else to do, I continued my physical, magical, and mental training. Hopefully he'll be back soon, I'm starting to get hungry as well. I walked out to the field where we normally train for a while and started with 100 push-ups, 100 crunches, 100 jumping jacks, and a 10 mile run. This was the physical training that Elementium would have me do on a daily basis. After finishing the physical training I took a 5 minute break to drink water. I then started my magical training which consisted of practicing every move I know with every element. After around two hours of magical training, I decided to head back to the cave and see whether or not Elementium came back. Over the years, I had grown used to him being there like a fatherly figure, so I started calling him "dad" or "father" when I would talk to him, however, I still feel like it is more appropriate to call him by his actual name when he is not around. Getting back to the cave, I see that Elementium is not there, making me think, 'Where could he be for so long? The longest time he's been out for hunting is around two hours. I hope nothing happened to him.' I took a walk around the cave and saw a piece of paper on the ground. Picking up the paper, I saw something was written on it, and it looked like a letter to be exact. I read the paper,

'Dear Y/N,

I am so proud of how far you have come in such a short period of time. You used to be so quiet and very awkward when speaking with me, and now you are  able to communicate with me as if we had known each other for our entire lives. I want you to never forget the times we spent together, for they are the thoughts you should think of if you ever feel down. The times we spent sparring in the training area; the time you accidentally put too much magic into an attack and it blew up in your face and we laughed for a while; the times we would talk about how to go back and forth between two inertial frames of reference in 4-dimensional space. These are the times that should bring you joy. Never forget that joy. I always enjoyed giving you brainteasers and puzzles to solve. You are the brightest person I've ever met. It means so much to me to be able to call you my son. Knowing how smart you are, you've probably figured out why I'm writing this letter. Sadly, I cannot be with you anymore. You have to learn to take care of yourself. I wish I could be there to see you grow up into a brilliant young man, but alas I cannot be there anymore. I will always be with you within your heart, mind and magic. Since I do not have very much time left, I should say a few more things. First off, although your mind likes to play tricks on you with how many times your past failures flash through your mind, never think of them too much. Failure helps us learn and grow, but it can also cause great pain and suffering emotionally and mentally when thought about too much. Secondly, don't let your mind wander too much on the possible scenarios that can occur from one small action. Think more about what is the right thing to do. If this confuses you, listen to your heart, it will always lead you down the right path. Thirdly, make sure to focus. I know you can become easily overwhelmed when in a new situation. Be sure to keep your emotions in check and your mind focused on your goal. And if you do get overwhelmed, remember the trick you came up with to help you calm down. Just relax and recite the digits of pi you remember over and over again until you relax. Sadly, I'm out of time now, so I have to say goodbye. I love you my son, and never change your semi-pacifistic habits.
