Monday. Your favorite day of the week. The day you start your whole work week over again. You absolutely love your job. Being a music producer and performing artist is all you ever wanted growing up. Luckily, a well-known recording label, XXXX, spotted your talent while you were in high school and posting covers of songs onto YouTube. At 16, you moved out of your hometown in Denver to L.A. and pursued your music career. It's been 4 years and your are the top Pop and EDM artist in the game at the moment. At 20 years old, everyone looks at you in admiration. You've accomplished so much all on your own.

Right now, you're headed to your private recording studio to have a meeting with your manager. You have to discuss the deadline for your first full album. You pretty much have everything done, you only have two more songs to finalize before the release. But you are so ready. For the past four years, every single and EP you've released were produced all by you. The album covers were designed solely by you and you have never collaborated with anyone. It's not that you have an issue with working with others, you just enjoy creating on your own. You also love to have full control with your work. Sure, you've gotten plenty of offers for a collaboration with talented artists, but you have trust issues. You don't want an artist to claim 100% of the credit of a song and literally F you over.

After getting dressed casually in leggings, a white tank top, jean jacket, and nikes you hope into your Range Rover and make your way to the studio. Once you get there, paparazzi are already surrounding your car. It's annoying but also a cost to the fame. After practically running into the studio, you set everything down, your manager, Carter comes through the door. "You're late, mister." You said in a sarcastic tone. Carter rolls his eyes and takes a seat in one of the comfy studio chairs.

"Listen, Y/N... The traffic in L.A. is the worst. And secondly, I'm not going to waste your time. I have huge news." You sat down in the second studio chair and faced him. You weren't worried about what he had to say, you just weren't expecting any big news other than your album release deadline.

"Okay, so what's the big news? I thought we were having a meeting about my album. You didn't say anything about something big."

"Well, Y/N. I know you always turn down collaboration offers, but I have a gut-feeling that you'll love this one. What would your response be if BTS wants to work with you on a new single?" Carter looked at you with excitement in his stark blue eyes. You stared right back as if you didn't understand a single work he said. "Y/N? Helllloooooo?? Is that a 'no'?"

You snapped out of it. You couldn't believe that BTS wants to work with you on a new song. This is crazy. You've been a huge fan of them since they debuted. Who would've thought they'd be a fan of yours. Just like you, BTS hasn't collaborated on a song with any other artist unless they just helped to produce the song. But to actually be singing on a track with them? That's crazy. "Carter, it's a definite 'yes'. Oh my god! You know how much I love them as artists." You jumped up all giddy like a two-year old.

"I knew you'd say 'yes', Y/N. I'll give them a call right now. They're in L.A. at the moment and they'd like to meet you in person before the actual production starts. Oh and I know you're almost done with the mixing and finalizing of the last two songs of your album. I talked it over with the record label, they want you to release your single with BTS first. Then, a week after, your album will be released." Carter replied laughing at you fangirling.

"Yes! That's totally fine. It'll give me some momentum before my album releases. Ugh!! This is so perfect. I can't thank you enough." You practically were screaming and hugged your manager with all of your might. Your dreams really are coming true. All of the hard work is paying off and honestly, you couldn't wait until you met BTS.

[ 5 hours later ]

You were working away on your final song. Making sure everything was in-tune, on beat, and was perfect. There were no lunch breaks and honestly, you lost track of the time. Carter left a long time ago after the quick meeting. But then there was a knock at the studio door. You didn't hear it since your track was playing on the speakers as you listened to it one last time. Before you knew it, Carter walked in and scared you. "Oh my god! Dude! What're you doing?"

"I have a couple people that I'd like you to meet." You looked at Carter with confusion and before you could ask who, seven men walked in.

"Hello, Y/N, we are BTS." They all said in unison. You looked back with a huge smile. Then you walked up and shook each of their hands.

"It is so nice to meet you all. RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and last but certainly not least, Jungkook." When you shook Jungkook's hand and looked into his eyes, something felt different from the rest. Yes, they all were charming and friendly, but Jungkook stood out to you. He had a sparkle in his eyes, his handshake was firm but comforting.

"Y/N. We are super excited that you agreed to collab on a new single with us. We've been a fan of you since you first single." V said with a smile. You couldn't help but blush a little.

"Aw, thank you so much. That truthfully means the world to me. I've actually been apart of Army since your debut. I'm honestly a little starstuck that you all are standing in my studio." You replied looking at the group. Still, you couldn't stop and gaze at Jungkook. You felt something between the two of you. It wasn't a bad feeling at all. But it was something you were unsure of. "Have you guys eaten anything for lunch yet? I haven't all day and was going to order something to be delivered to the studio." You asked feeling slightly faint and shaky.

"Oh we haven't eaten lunch yet. But food sounds great, Y/N" Jin replied happily.

"Okay perfect, I'll order. While we wait, we can continue to get to know each other." Carter butted in and I was so thankful. So, while we waited for the food, I showed BTS what I was currently working on.

"Y/N. You're so talented. I know for a fact that the whole world will fall even more in love with you and you music once this is released." Jungkook said with a wide smile and pink cheeks. All you could do was say 'thank you' and turn to the computer monitors to hide your blushing cheeks. Seriously, what is up with this guy? What is he doing to me?
