The end of the night's concert was approaching quickly and Jae couldn't help but get a little emotional as the group sang Mikrokosmos to the audience of over 90,000 ARMYs. As they had done a sound check the previous day, she had a moment of self-reflection and realized how far the group had come since their trainee days.

Who would've thought they'd be one of the most popular music groups on Earth in just 6 years? She was surprised when just 200 people came to one of their first concerts but the number had grown exponentially as they continued to release music.

Now, as she stood in front of an audience filled with thousands of glittering lights and people that absolutely loved the music that she loved to make, her eyes glistened with unshed tears. She finished the song with fiery passion and joining the group on the platform that would lower them underneath the stage where they could walk to the dressing rooms and get ready to leave.

A cameraman followed as they talked about the night's stunning performance but Jae lagged behind, head down and quiet, contrary to her usual bubbly self.

They finally entered the dressing rooms and the group had quieted down to take their makeup off and change into more comfortable clothes when Namjoon's voice interrupted their post-concert routines.

"What's wrong JaeJae?" he asked, concerned about his youngest member's unusual state. Jae looked up and the group observed the teeth that had sunk into her lower lip to keep her tears at bay. She whimpered before finally letting the dam break as tears flooded down her face. Namjoon was confused but didn't hesitate to take her into his arms as he hugged her. The other boys looked at each other, puzzled at the girl's sudden show of tears.

They said nothing while Jae let her tears out onto Namjoon's shirt. After a few minutes, she had calmed down and lifted her head from the leader's chest. She trembled as she started to speak.

"I-I just couldn't b-believe how far we've come from o-our trainee days," she started shakily, taking a breath to calm down and stabilize her voice. "I mean, I showed up to Seoul when I was only 14, unsure and afraid of everything. And as a group we were all scared because we didn't know what was to come. But we managed to put our heart and soul into our music and we've come so far. It feels like just yesterday we had a concert with less than 200 people and now we're performing in front of thousands and thousands more."

"But the most important thing is that I'm finally sure of one thing. I'm finally sure that ARMY has us and that we've got them and I'm finally sure that we've got each other. Standing in front of that crowd today singing the lyrics of Mikrokosmos just brought me to a realization and I couldn't help but cry out of joy. Because all of this, this tour, this stage, these performances, they all make me realize that we truly have shined over the years, just like the lyrics state."

By now, some of the other boys had started to cry as well. Each member stepped closer to Jae as if drawn by a magnet and opened their arms to join a tight hug that lasted for what seemed like forever.

The footage was later released as part of the year's memories and ARMYs across the world cried alongside the girl as they watched Jae speak about her emotions and the group's achievements. That day was monumental, bringing the group and ARMY closer than ever before.
