I was so excited that Silas didn't look down on me for my past. He wanted to be with me anyway. I was confident about talking to Sienna about everything because if Silas was so understanding, I was sure his sister would be too. I got ready for school and walked out the door to see Silas's truck sitting in the driveway.

“Hey babe. I didn't want you to have to walk to school. Hop in, I'll take you on my way to work.” I smiled at him as I climbed up into the truck. I scooted next to him and kissed him on the cheek.

“Thank you sweetie. Would you take me driving after work today? It's time I learn how so I don't have to walk everywhere.” I kissed him again.

“Of course baby. What time do you want me to come get you?” He smiled.

“I wanted to talk to your sister after school, so how about five-thirty?”

He agreed and pulling into the school parking lot. I had almost a half hour before class started so I scooted even closer to my gorgeous mate and took his hand.

“Silas, I am so lucky to have you for a mate.” I whispered. He leaned in close to me and kissed me. As his lips brushed up against mine, he whispered into my ear.

“I'm the lucky one.” His lips captured mine and his tongue brushed against my lips so I parted them and let his tongue dance with mine. I snaked my fingers into his hair and pulled him as close to me physically possible. I could feel myself getting turned on, and I knew he could sense it. He grabbed me around the waist and lifted me onto his lap as he scooted over so I wasn't sitting on the steering wheel. I was so turned on that I was getting ready to skip school and go somewhere to be alone with Silas and get him out of his clothes. I was pulled out of my thoughts by a knock on the truck window.

“Silas, you need to let go of J.J. so she can go to class and you should go to work.” Sienna was smiling as she stood next to the truck waiting for me.

I gave him one last kiss before climbing down from the truck and watching my mate drive away. I had never believed in love, let alone love at first sight. Silas changed that for me. It took one look into those gorgeous different colored eyes in order for me to realize that I needed him. I was so thankful that he accepted me, and I decided that after I told Sienna the truth, I'd go back to my brown hair and blue eyes.

Sienna and I were walking into the school together, and I seized the moment. “Hey Sienna, do you think you could give me a ride home tonight and hang out for a bit? I'd really like to talk to you. Silas is coming over at five-thirty but I'd like to hang out with you before that.” I really needed to tell her about my past, even though I dreaded having to speak of it again.

“I'd love to. Maybe your grandma will feed me some of that good cooking again.” She joked.

I had a great day at school that day. My messed up life was finally turning around for the better. Sienna and I drove to my house with the radio blasting as we sang along with Foster the People. She parked her car and we ran into the house laughing as Sienna told me about the pickup line a human boy had used on her.

Gran was baking homemade bread and making chili, and Maddy was sitting in her highchair snacking on cheerios. Sienna and I went up to my room and decided to work on some homework that she was having problems with.
