I know that it's hard right now

&I know it seems dark right now

I know that pain must feel pretty good right now

Colder than you'd ever thought you'd be

I know that it looks tempting to pick up that knife

That rope, that pill, that everything in sight

author's note: sometimes I go back and read the beautiful things you've written me and I wonder where we went wrong. you were one of the only good things in my life, and loving you came so damn easy. it was so fucking easy to fall head over heels in love with you. and we had such good times, sara. everything we did together was heaven sent and you were everything I had ever needed. I don't know what happened. I just know that you haven't spoken to me in years. I wish I knew what I did wrong. I wish I knew why you left me. I wish I could have at least told you how much you meant to me. I hope you're okay, wherever you are now. and I wish nothing but the best for you and Oliver.
