I turned around to see my big brother standing at the top of the stair case with a half asleep, half-awake look on his face, he had his eyes open but it looked like he was forcing them to stay in that position, I could feel the water level rising in me from my feet to my knees.
“I’m just going for a little walk, and um Aspen, how many finger am I holding up”, I held up two hands, one finger on one and two fingers on the other.
“Um…1...4...2…16... I got it 16”, he said with dozed look.
“Well I’m going out now, see you later”, I said.
I ran out the door closing the door behind me, after that I ran out into the forest and it was a good thing too because as the picture of the house faded away into the distance, I finished my transformation. The dress did seem to speed it up significantly. I stood beside the lake and sat down, I could feel the water intercepting with my own. I stood back up aging and concentrated really hard on what I did the last time, the waves came over the lake again and a ball of water arose. I tried directing it to a tree but it just fell back into the lake.
After doing this for about ten minutes or so I tried something else, making a ball of water from my own hands, I was successful and I tried tossing I around for a bit, I turned it into a little water snake and threw it up in the air, then I tossed around a little ball of water, this was much easier and required a lot less energy that the ball of water rising from the lake. It was going fine till I dropped the ball of water, I thought, no biggy, until I was engulfed by the water and turned into it, I could slide around as a liquid and not be known to anyone, but how would I turn back, I pictured a human girl and, voila, it was so simple, I just turned back, except for the fact that I only had three finger on one hand and six on the other and I had three toes on each foot, so not perfect but it still worked out pretty good, after practicing for a few more hours I could: create a ball of water from my hands or from the lake, I could turn into water, breath and see under water and I could spray water, that one is probably my favorite
One thing I wondered, was I salt water or fresh water, I sprayed some water into my mouth with my left hand, cold fresh water, then I raised my left hand and sprayed some into my mouth, I sprayed and more,
