13. 👶🏽Freshman Advice p.1👶🏽

1. Stay on your grind 😤
- Freshman year might not be the most important year but that doesn't mean that you shouldn't focus on you grades. Make sure to keep your grades up‼️

2. Stay out of drama🗣
- Drama is not worth any of your time in highschool! Stay focused on what's important to you and leave the drama out of it. 👏🏽

3. Be respectful to your teachers👩🏽‍🏫👨🏽‍🏫
- A lot of people think it's cool and cute to disrespect their teachers. In reality they look dumb! Unless your teacher is disrespecting you do not disrespect your teacher for no reason‼️

4. Do not go into highschool looking for a relationship 👎🏽
- if you go into highschool looking for a relationship you're going to lose focus on what's actually important. Having a relationship at this age isn't necessary and you shouldn't think that you need a relationship to be happy. 💁🏽‍♀️If the time is right, a relationship will come‼️

5. Have good hygiene 🚿
- make sure you're brushing your teeth 🦷, taking showers and putting on deodorant. Hygiene is extremely important in highschool! You don't wanna be smelling musty during school. 🤢

6. Join clubs and/or sports 🏀🎤
- joining extracurricular activities is a good way to look forward to school if you don't really like school. 📚It also looks good on college applications and resumes‼️

7. Make sure you're having fun, making friends and going to sports events! ☺️🤩

8. Make sure to get your sleep 💤 and drink your water 💦

*bonus tip:* dress in whatever you feel comfortable in and wear as little or as much makeup as you want, but make sure you're doing it for yourself and not to impress anyone🤪🥰
