1. join a sport/club⛹🏽‍♀️🎨
In a majority of our schools, we can play different types our sports such as:
-track and field
-volleyball 🏐
-wrestling 🤼‍♀️
-flag football🏈
If you want, you can even join a sport that's not in school. I know that I started playing basketball 3 years ago and I still have friendships that I have today with some of the players.

If sports isn't really your thing, join a club/organization!
Schools have many clubs such as:
-book 📚

Find something that YOU like and you'll meet many other people who have the same liking!

2. Make friends through people you know. 💁🏽‍♀️
This is an excellent way to make friends.

I remember I was invited to a barbecue by one of my friends. We didn't go to the same school and she invited one of her friends from school. We ended up vibing really well and we're still in contact to this day.

3. Set a daily social goal

This goal can be things like:
-smile at 3 people today
-talk to 4 people today🗣
-high five 5 people today 👋🏽

Things like this can help you step out of your comfort zone and decrease your shyness!

-take baby steps!👶🏽
9 times out of 10 you're not going to become less shy over night. Take your time and don't do what you're not ready for!
