Sonic slept early that night, he didn't have a reason to stay up since Manic's friends stayed over late and they hogged the television.

When he woke up, Sonic didn't feel like doing anything, he was still feeling a little quesy from the alcohol so this time he did call his boss and told him he was sick. When his boss was furious for not calling him yesterday, he said he was too sick to call.

After his boss hung up, Sonic went downstairs and said goodbye to Manic who was already leaving. He cleaned the apartment up a bit and once he was done he decided to call Shadow.

At the third ring, Shadow picked up.

"Hey blue gal," Shadow answered. "What's up?"

"Wanna fuck later tonight?" Sonic joked earning a laugh from his favorite edge-lord.

"I'm down if your down but you'd be down because y'know.. you're the woman."

Sonic chuckled, either way that'd be true.

"Hey you never know, girls can be dominant too."

"I'm a sexist, i don't believe in that."

"Mm sexy, bringing opinions onto the table." Sonic jokingly purred as he sat back in the sofa. "I think you're gonna make me horny again."

"Again?"

"Shadow everytime i hear your voice i wanna nut in my mlp panties."

"Should i be concerned?"

"Yes."

"Did you really just call me to tell me about your strange pony fetish?" Shadow asked on the other end.

"Of course not!" Sonic tried to sound all offended by scoffing at his words, "I'm attracted to you not underage horses!"

"Then why the hell did you call me, brony?!"

"To hear your voice." That sounded gay. "Also i wanted to plan that date we talked about yesterday." That sounded even gayer.

"Oh well, i get off at 12 today." Shadow replied. "What did you have in mind?"

"Hmm, i was thinking Shrek 2 and a bottle of champagne maybe even those stupid little microwaveable pizzas." He was only joking, sort of. A night with Shadow Shrek and a bottle of champagne sounded excited but also not very serious but this was Sonic the Hedgehog for fucks sake, he never took life seriously.

"I'm in!" Shadow exclaimed. Yes! "I'll bring the champagne and pizza, anything else my little princess wants?"

"Bring me a pony," Sonic giggled.

"Say no more, I'll bring you a whole box!"

"I was only joking!" 

"My love is not a joke!"

That line made Sonic consider a sayonara commitment but.. it was true on his end too. He was starting to like Shadow a little bit as well especially after what happened during the whole scandal. His comforting words soothed him.

"... well." Azure didn't know what to say.

"... well um," Shadow realized how awkward he's made it on his end, he should of known she wasn't into him. "I'll see you around 12 then?"

"Sure, I'll text you my address."

"Bye."

"Bye Shadow," Sonic took in a deep breath. He couldn't believe he was saying this.. "I love you." And he hung up after cringing at his words but he felt.. nice.

Shadow slammed his phone on his table after Sonette hung up. He pumped his fists saying 'yes!' Over and over excited he won the girl's heart in only two nights.
