Byun Baekhyun is a top student at Seoul National University. His life is quite normal until he meets Park Chanyeol, a competitive boy that came back from China after living there for five years.
Baekhyun takes an instant disliking to Chanyeol and the annoying and ambitious ways he learned during his years in Chizhou.
However, when something happens to Baekhyun, Chanyeol springs to rescue. Baekhyun begins to notice that Chanyeol is actually rather kind and caring.
But the pressures of Chanyeol being in a school council leaves him blind to Baekhyun's affection and Baekhyun takes up playing instruments to distract himself.
