Chapter 1

"Arthur wake up," someone said shaking me. I hesitantly open my eyes and see its Hosea. "Dutch wants you to meet John and Javier over at the Grey's place, something to do with some horses," I yawned and sat up "ok thanks Hosea," he nodded and walked off, probably to talk to Dutch or something. I got up and walked over to my horse, "morning boy," I said patting him a few times. I was about to hop on him and take off when I heard Sadie call out. "Arthur wait up a sec" This made me confused. Sadie and I haven't interacted much except for the one time I rode into Rhodes with her. But that was days ago

"what can I do for you, Mrs. Adler?" I asked her. "Arthur for that last time call me Sadie," "Alright alright, is there something you need? Cause I'm kinda busy right now, " "Oh if your busy I'm sure I can ask someone else," she was about to run off but I quickly stopped her. " as soon as I come back we'll go do whatever you needed to do, this should take too long," "then I guess I'll see you in little bit Arthur," I gave her a small smile and road of towards the Grey's place.

I stopped at the front and watched as the guard slowly raised his rifle. "Can I help you, mister?" He said with caution. "I and some Business associates of mine are here about some horses, they should already be here," I explained to the guard.  "a man with a scar and a Mexican?" He said after thinking for a moment. "Yes sir," the guard slowly lowered his Rifle "they're over at the stables," he said pointing to a build on the side.

I said thanks to the guard and rode off towards the stables. John and Javier were already talking to Mr. Gray when I walked into the stables. John noticed me walked in and introduced me to Mr. Grey "...and have you met my business partner, Arthur Morgan?"
Mr. Grey thought about it for a second then shook his head. "No, I don't think I do, " I shook his hand and John turned towards me.
"Mr. grey here has been having some trouble with a family of degenerates," it was hard not to start laughing at this. However, I know that it was a bad idea to get involved with these two families. Next thing I knew I was following John and Javier out of the grays place.

"What took you so long to get here compadre?" Javier asked. "I was talking to Mrs. Adler," I replied casually. "I've seen you looking at her brother," John said smirking at me. "I have not Marston," I said in annoyance "hey how come you've never got yourself a woman, Arthur?" Javier asked "I don't know, guess I just never thought about it," not since Eliza and Issac I continued in my head. I saw John give me a weird look but didn't say anything. Which I was silently grateful for. I remained quiet for the remainder of the trip. A guard stopped us as we were heading onto the Braithwait's property. John surprisingly convinced the guard to let us in. We then road down towards the stables and stole the alleged "thousand dollars" horses. I heard someone shout and felt a bullet fly past my ear. "This better have been worth it!" I yelled at John and Javier while trying to avoid being shot.

I pulled out my cattleman revolver and shot back at the Braithwaites that were following us on horseback. Eventually, we reached a secluded area where we're going to try and sell the horses. I didn't care too much about the conversation and started sketching a bird down by the lake. "I'll buy them for $600," I heard. I put away my journal and started paying attention "we heard these horses are worth a couple thousand" John replied clearly annoyed. "Well I only have $600 on me right now," I sighed in annoyance and watch as the man handed John the cash and took the horses away. "Nice job there Marston," I said sarcastically. John rolled his eyes and I watched as Javier rode off leaving only John and I. "You ok Arthur? You've been quiet this whole time," John asked me with a worried expression. "Yeah I'm alright, I guess," John didn't get a chance to respond as I was already heading back to Clemens Point.
