Chapter 19: Good to be Back [End of Year Two]

Draco's POV

"Cheer up, Malfoy." Crabbe said.

I stayed silent. I just stare at my food.

"I agree, Draco. Besides, Y/N doesn't like you to starve." Pansy said.

I took a deep breath then stood. "I don't feel like it. I'm heading to the common room." I said then began to walk away.

"Look! Y/N's back!" Goyle pointed.

I stopped then saw Granger and Y/N alive and alright outside the great hall, smiling.

Y/N saw me. "Draco!"

"Y/N!" I exclaimed then ran to her.

I don't care if the others are looking.

My best friend is back.

We hugged each other. "You're alright, Y/N. You're okay. I'm glad you're back." I mumbled.

She pulled away from the hug.

"It's good to be back," she said. "And you're right. I think I'll have a toothache after I finished all the sweets they gave me."

I blushed. "You heard everything I said that night?"

She nodded. I sighed.

"I'm sorry, Y/N. I really am. To be honest, I can't sleep without you by my side."

"I forgave you, Draco. It's not fun not being around you. I missed you. I really do."

I smiled. "I do too."

Y/N's POV

"Got everything packed, Hermione?"

"Yes, you?"

"I did." I said then hugged her.

"I'll miss you." I said.

"I'll miss you too." She replied.

I pulled back. "Let's go to the boys. For once, I felt proud that they solved the case." I said.

"I agree, and on their own!" She said then we chuckled.

"I sense that there'll be more adventures to come." She added.

"What's next? Are we gonna play with time or something?" I joked. [*wink wink* I think u guys already know]

We approached the two. "Hey," we said.

"Y/N! Hermione!" They exclaimed.

"We'll miss you guys."

"Don't hesitate to owl us!"

"Don't forget!"

Draco's POV

I saw Y/N with the trio.

She turned then saw me. She waved.

The trio left, leaving Y/N and I alone.

"Hey," I said, stepping closer.

"Year two ends." She said with a sigh.

"Don't worry, Y/N! There are more years to come," I said. "Hopefully more safe years to come."

She chuckled. "Yeah, hopefully."

She hugged me. "Owl me?"

I smiled then hugged her tight. "Always."

To be honest, I can't wait to write Year 3
