(Y/n's POV)
I walked up to the Ice cream shop in the new mall with my friend Mikaela. There was a boy about my age talking to a girl the same age. I rang the bell and he turned around. "Ahoy Ladies! Wanna try some ice cream? We have Uss butterscotch, banana split. There's 2 of you, you want 2 spoons?" He turned around and the girl mouthed 'you suck' putting a tally on a white board. The boy dropped his head down. I giggled.
"He's cute." I whispered to Mikaela.
"He's weird." She whispered back.
"I don't care I'm gonna ask for a date." I whispered then leaned into the counter. "So, pretty boy." I said and he turned around. "What's your name?" I asked.
"Steve." He said.
"Wan go on a date sometime? Or something?" I asked getting more nervous as the sentence went on.
"Oh uh sure. Yeah yeah when, when are you free?" I seem to have caught him off guard.
"Next weekend."
"Yeah me too how about we meet here at 8." He suggested.
"By the way, the names Y/n." I said walking away with a big smile.
"Hey what about ice cream?" Mikaela yelled running after me.
