I know sometimes it feels like your voice holds the key to the doomsday machine
And if you speak out of turn everything will go up in flames,
So for fear of this you choose to remain silent.

Now I know that you probably don't believe in magic
But what if I told you that every single time you speak
The silence that envelopes you,
Completely disappears.

Now how's that for a vanishing act?

Your voice can fill a room like an elephant that can not ignored,
All you need to do is speak.

Now don't concern yourself with what people may think of you,
Your voice is not an instruction manual,
You do not need to explain yourself,
So just express yourself.

Be loud,
Like an emergency phone call,
Let them know that your message is important
And will not be ignored.

And if they tell you to be quiet,
Turn up the volume,
They shall not police your voice,
With their sirens of criticism.

And do not be afraid to be yourself,
Because that role can not be given to anyone else.
It's a part of the script that only you can understand,
So you better be sure to give the performance of a life time,
Because you only have but a single life time to get it right,
So be the best you that you can be.

But do not be afraid to mess up every now and again,
You are entitled to,
Because this life didn't come with instructions,
So you must simply find the best way that works for you and keep at it,
Don't let up,
Just keep at it.

And if you haven't found your way just yet,
That's okay too,
It's not a race,
So take your time,
You can not fall behind in a journey to find yourself because only you know the way.

So look forward,
Uncross your fingers
And trust that it will all work out in the end.
