Lay your head down and rest,
The day is over,
Forget about tomorrow,
Let the problems of today sink in,
Let them fade away as you slowly drift off into sleep.
The battle has been won,
You made it back home,
For now that's more than enough.
Follow the trail of sheep to a field of dreams,
Chase them,
Fit yourself tightly between the whispers of pointless pillow talk,
Pull the cord on your reality
And lay flat in the silence.
Let the problems of tomorrow fall out of the sky of your mind,
For tonight all you need are stars.
