Monday Ashton and I went separately to work although he had been at my house all weekend

None of the interns I worked with needed to know that.

I dropped Cleo off at Maddie's before going to the hospital, immediately changing into my scrubs, throwing my hair into a pony tail before I was Stapleton, who kept his head down.

"Chief wants us all in his office"

I gave a small nod, slamming my locker shut before following him.

I walked in, seeing two of the other interns, Ashton and the Chief sitting at his desk.

To not seem weird, I stood beside the intern, leaning my weight onto my hip.

Soon all seven of us were in one room and I was beyond nervous.

"Never in my career have I faced this situation with a group of interns" he spoke, glancing across all of us.

All the guys were looking straight to their feet.

"Other than cheating the system- why don't you guys actually study- try to beat her in a fair way" the Chief spoke.

"Therefore- you guys will not be fired but the four of you will remain on probation until you prove yourself to Doctor Irwin and earn Doctor Johnson's respect and trust back" he spoke firmly.

I was fucking screwed.

"Thank you sir, you will not regret it- we have certainly learned our lessons" Stapleton spoke for the group.

"Now I believe you have an attendings meeting, so go" He spoke clearly.

"Doctor Johnson, Doctor Irwin, stay behind"

I stayed in my spot, Ashton soon standing beside me, not touching me.

"Doctor Johnson, overall are you okay- have you fully recovered from the incident?" He asked.

"Yes sir" I nodded immediately.

"Okay- I'm sorry that it had to happen to you in the first place, but Doctor Irwin I trust that you'll observe closer and just keep a close eye on them, you've got some jealous guys" he sighed.

"Of course" Ashton nodded, glancing to me before back to the Chief.

"Okay, just come to me if you need anything" he spoke to the two of us.

We left together.

"That was awkward" I mumbled as we walked down the hall.

"He could've handled it differently- I personally would've, but I guess that why I'm not Chief" he sighed with the smallest smile.

We went into a different meeting room, seeing the four boys sitting, all the attendings standing over them, making me wonder who was watching all of these interns.

I thought the last meeting was intimidating- but this one was just cut throat threats.

"You touch another woman in this program- even in a nice way, you better not let me see it because I'll make fucking sure-" all four boys had a different attending threatening them in some sort of way.

"And this is why we have attending meetings" Ashton smiled.

Once the room came to silence, all the boys had their heads down- defeated.

"Now- does anyone have anything to say to Doctor Johnson" Luke spoke out.

The four of them stayed silent.

"Alright, that's your choice- just know, we already didn't respect you, now it's even worse"
