"Now that we're on the same page you will be assigned to your attending, look at this person as if he or she is your boss, your attending will go over their individual rules as soon as you get with them" another spoke.
Soon names were being called and people would leave on groups.
"For Doctor Irwin we have Payton Johnson-" I felt my heart drop but I immediately moved to the man standing at the door as my name was yelled out.
"Aren't you lucky" the man spoke as I got to him.
I raised my eyebrows to him.
"Look at the people behind you, that's your group- you're the only girl in an all boy group" I turned, looking to the men behind me, letting out a breath before seeing him nod, making me follow close behind him.
We went into an office, the man stood behind a desk.
"I am your attending Doctor Irwin- yes I am the attending that doesn't put up with downgrading women, and as you can tell- we have the pleasure of having a lady in our group, and I expect full respect to her, are we clear?" He demanded,
"Yes sir" the four men spoke.
"Very well, now my rules"
"No hooking up in the interns lounge, that's for you to sleep- you should be sleeping."
"Sleep every opportunity that you can- you will with over twenty four hour shifts, you'll be exhausted." He continued slowly.
"You talk to me about everything you do whether you think it will get you in trouble or not."
"And lastly" he spoke, clapping his hands together, his eyes meeting my own and locking
"Follow my rules, don't fuck shit up and be respectful- we won't have any problems"
"Easy enough" one of the guys spoke from beside me.
"That's what you think now" he smiled lightly.
"These are your individual pagers, don't lose them and don't ignore them, they're important" he spoke, setting one into each of our hands.
Suddenly a noise erupted from his own, making him smile
"Let's get to work"
