Leroy and Isaiah were in the city. They walked side-by-side down the road. They stopped as they letting a pack of Grimm pass.

Leroy: That drone still work?

Isaiah: I fell on it, of course, it works.

*Rumble followed by barking*

Leroy: Puppy!

He ran out to investigate the dog until Isaiah pulled him back.

Isaiah: Remember that there has been gunfire around here?

Leroy: But that was a dog. I already wuv him.

They proceed safely toward it. They found a black and white dog barking next to a hole.

Leroy: Come here, boy.

He slowly approached it, as it growled at him.

Leroy: It's okay.

Isaiah: What's this thing?

He held crescent rose, accidentally opening it.

Isaiah: I'm keeping it.

Leroy: Where's your owner buddy?

Beacon earlier that day

Sophia was sitting in the room alone looking at Lance's area. She held the photo of Nicolas and her. She held a lighter in the other hand letting the flame get closer to the memory. Dog barking got her attention. She ran in Ruby's room finding Blake on the bed and Weiss with a dog.

Sophia: Where did you find him?

Ruby: Our dad sent him here.

She got down petting him.

Sophia: Come one, it's time for your field trip.

Timeskip

She was walking out to see Ruby off when Lance was walking towards her.

Sophia: You should be in the hospital.

Lance: I'm not letting someone with a sword put me down.

She hugged him causing his injuries pain.

Lance: Riggs, that hurts.

Sophia: I know, but right now I don't care. I'm sorry that I made you go out there.

Lance: I shouldn't have done it in the first place.

Sophia: No you were right.

Ruby and the others were with JNPR getting ready to go.

Lance: You going to say bye to her?

Sophia: I did earlier and asked them to keep an eye out for the other two.

Lance: What would happen if they found them?

Sophia: Isaiah would probably be in charge, so I think it will be fine.

Lance: Why not Leroy?

Sophia: He's... I'm not sure what to say.

Leroy and Isaiah

They followed the dog as it ran, checking every once in a while to make sure they were behind him.

Leroy: Isn't that great? We found a dog, one that doesn't want to kill us.

Isaiah: What makes you think it's not leading us into a trap?

Leroy: How dare you think that. That is a good doggy.

He turns back to see the tip of a sword near his face along with three other people.

*Bark*

Leroy: I trusted you.
