Chapter 22. Conrad

"It's not safe here" Conrad says as someone that looks like the owner picks up the phone

"I'm calling the cops, Conrad" A fat, balding man says

"They can't stop me from loving you" Conrad says as he grabs Sunny and Sunny struggles to get out of his grasp.

"Please Conrad" Sunny says crying out

That's when something else unexpected happens.

"Hey leave her alone" Gabe says getting up from our booth and making his way towards Conrad.

"Mind your own business" Conrad says, holding Sunny tighter

"Can't you see she doesn't want to be near you, she's terrified" Gabe says like he's talking him down

"What- you don't know what your talking about" Conrad says shaking now

I get up and make my way over too.

"Love shouldn't be one person being so scared of you they do what you say, that's not fair to either of the people involved especially not the one that's terrified"

"If you love someone then it shouldn't one sided, and you should want the best for them even if that means you not being in their life" Gabe says calmly walking closer to Conrad

Conrad looks like his head is about to explode with everything going on, his grip on Sunny loosens then he shoves her towards our booth. She stumbles back and Lisa catches her so she doesn't hit her head

"Wha-" Conrad stutters at a loss for words, but then his expression quickly fades when we hear a faint siren in the distance.

Conrad looked pissed, instantly as if on cue he swings at Gabe .

Gabe tries to dodge it but it gets his left eye, but he seems unfazed and he Rams his palm into Conrad's nose. It instantly starts bleeding as Gabe sweeps Conrad's legs out from under him and he lands on his stomach as Gabe grabs his wrist and holds it behind his back as he struggles. Then Gabe Rams his head down and he passes out, but he's alive

"You see I've met people like you, you draw on how much people fear you and mistake it for love" Gabe days calmly twisting Conrad's wrist until it pops and he falls to the ground.

I walk over as the police pile in, them I spot two familiar faces, Donna and Jody

I pick up Conrad after watching two medics struggle with him and I place him on a stretcher and walk over to Gabe and whisper something in his ear.

"You were hot as hell"

"That's funny coming from the 6 foot giant that's got abs for days" Gabe says laughing as I pick him up and the leans in kissing me with his hand holding onto my neck, then he breaks away and stops.

"We should probably continue this later" Gabe says, smiling and looking around at all the random people watching or glancing at us

"Tease"

We walk over to the table and sit back down in our original spot

"Gabe that was badass" Meg says looking around and Gabe just shrugs

"Don't be modest angel, you acted quickly and saved someone you didn't even know"

As if hearing someone say her name Sunny walked up to us smiling, but still shaken a little

"Thank you so so so so much" Sunny says smiling at Gabe who's eye seemed to be turning purple as we speak .

"It was nothing" Gabe says smiling, as I lean my head on his shoulder

"What can I ever do to repay you?" Sunny says, smiling

"Nothing, just be careful and I'd say maybe get him locked up for assult and destruction of property" Gabe says pointing to the stuff Conrad knocked over during his rampage before he butted it.

"Oh you still don't have your order" Sunny says looking down

"No really it's oka-" Gabe tries to ramble out but Sunny stops him

"It's the least I can do since you saved my life" Sunny says walking away

"That was interesting" Dean says looking around

"Yeah....." Cas mumbles out shaking curled by Dean's side

"Good thinking Lisa, catching her if you didn't she could have gotten hurt too" Ruby says as Jess smiled at Lisa who leans closer to her the tiniest bit.

"Oh it was nothing-" Lisa starts but Sunny walks back up

"Here ya go, enjoy" Sunny says as she goes to talk to the man behind the counter, I'm guessing he's the boss

"I have an amazing idea since it's so early still" Charlie says excitedly drinking her milkshake

"That is, if your up for it" Charlie says grinning wickedly

"Sure what could go wrong?" Meg says as Charlie's grin grows bigger
