That night I showed up to her door at 8 pm like we planned. I knocked and she came out and I showed her all around the grease side of town. Then we went back to the lot. My car was parked and we sat on the hood with the windows down listening to the radio playing whatever songs came on. Suddenly a song I didn't recognize came on and y/n's face lit up. God I love seeing her happy. Looks like she forgot all about her shit-for-brains boyfriend.

She said and she began to hum along to the words

She replied and continued to hum and slowly sway with the music. Suddenly she jumped off the hood of the car and grabbed my hand gently tugging me.
"Dance with me Two-Bit" she said smiling.
"Doll come on, I can't dance."

And with that we held each other and slowly swayed to the soft song until it ended.

When she was sitting on my car swaying I got a good look at what she was wearing. It was a white dress with blue and yellow flowers on the bottom that zipped in the back.

She was absolutely stunning. But then again, she's always been beautiful. Once the song ended we sat back on the car this time I had my arm around her and she was playing with my fingers. Tonight may have not really been a date in her opinion. But it was amazing.
