Daffodil, New beginnings.
I didn't wrote any letters to you in a while. Guess you can say I was busy.
I got offer to expand my company which lead to many papers and occupied nights. I didn't even visited you in a long time, sorry for that too.
But now I can rest. Its New Year in few days! I remember how we spent that holiday together. It was a mess.
You told me it was your first New Year with someone that isn't your granny.
I was happy to be your first in that.
I wanted to be your first in
Everything.
We failed to make hot chocolate with marshmallows, and cookies got burn because we were too caught in our pillow fight.
My kitchen was a mess.
It was miracle that cookies actually tasted amazing.
It was miracle how daffodils had grown in my garden even thought it wasn't their time.
It was too cold for them and it wasn't their season.
But I guess it was a nice miracle, after all, New Year means new beginnings and so it does daffodils.
It was for our new beginnings.
