I was humming this beautiful song which I fell in love with instantly while walking down the road to the school. The weather was more chilly than yester night.
I was wearing my branded jacket, jeans & T-shirt as usual. I intentionally took the other route which is less crowded. Those cake face bimbos and idiots annoy the hell out of me. Yeah, sometimes even Mr. Popular likes to have some 'Me time.'
Barely 3 or 5 people could be seen at this time today. With birds chirping on the trees which are surrounding both sides of this road, it feels more peaceful to walk by here early in the morning.
With hands in my pockets, I kicked the pebbles and started humming that song again lost in some good old days,
Ohh, Learn to love againnn... I stopped abruptly as a voice caught my attention.
"Ahh... urgh.." I looked back from where the voice came.
There my eyes landed on a girl, who might be average looking but still there was something which was captivating about her. She was wearing a simple jeans and top with a long overcoat and boots.
She had such innocence on her face and charm in her dull eyes which could deceive anyone.I shook my head smiling.
Hold on, what the hell is wrong with me ? I am assessing a random stranger and thinking how adorable she is when far better girls throw themselves on me! I am Alexander Eder for christ's sake.
I looked at her once and got lost yet again. She was making such cute faces while trying to jump raising her hand probably to catch something from the higher branch of the tree. Her hair were dancing along the breeze while she was literally shooting daggers at the infamous tree. Oh, believe me even the tree might be enjoying her glares for they are anything but scary! I shook my head for the second time smiling at her crazy antics.
"Stupid tree, hunh!" I chuckled as she huffed leaving me all the more amused. She turned immediately and then her beautiful, correction, as of now angry eyes landed on me!
I held her gaze for a while before she narrowed her eyes forcing me to look here and there acting all innocent... that it was not me who laughed at her. But see the luck, not even a single soul was around!
Something cold touched my cheek making me look up only to realize the snowfall started may be the exact moment our eyes met with each other.
I saw her frowning and diverting her attention from me back to that tree. I closed the few steps by walking upto her and politely asked,
"May I help?" My tone was a surprise to me too and so was her unnecessary rudeness!
"No, thanks." Hell, no girl mark my words no girl has ever said no to me for anything! And here she is showing me attitude when I am doing nothing but helping her. Well, get lost then! I don't_ care?
Last word stuck right there as this antique piece, I mean girl was about to fall! I held her by her arm instantly before she could touch the ground.
I stared at her for a while absorbing her fragrance and capturing her features. It would be a lie if I say my heart didn't skip a beat with her mere touch.
She stopped my thought process as she pulled herself immediately after opening those mysterious eyes.
"Umm.. thanks?"
When I looked at her closely, she felt so deep and mysterious.
I shook my head at her carelessness. She could have got hurt, Idiot! I then asked her to move aside by the firm expression of my eyes.
Pointing at the flower, I asked if that's what she wanted and jumping for. She nodded her head. A small smile still formed on my face whilst adoring her childish antics. I stood on my toes and raised my hand to get the flower for her. After a few attempts I managed to pluck it off for her.

"Here, A rose of love for you!"
She narrowed her eyes and shook her head at my cheesy line. Nevertheless, she took the rose and walked away after mumbling a small thanks.
I stood there smiling like a fool watching her go through the snow.
I am so gonna be late today. My mind finally knocked upon and I picked up my pace to the school which is thankfully only 5 minutes away from here. The snowfall was not that heavy so I managed to get to school on time.
But why do I have a feeling that this first day of last year is going to change everything?
