and suddenly it's okay
for people to dig through
belongings not of their own
simply because they're curious
and act dumb when confronted.
and suddenly it's okay
for words to mean more than actions-
i only said i wanted to
because i don't have to guts
to do those things.
and suddenly i want the one
who makes me feel alive,
hold me tightly throughout
the endless night
as my tears run astray
because i am not sure what
else to say.
