Have you ever wondered how a story or article goes from a small nugget of an idea to a final draft?
Here on Wattpad, you can find a variety of draft levels. Some authors post their unedited first drafts. Some post a "final" version of what they call a "first draft" - by this they mean it's potentially ready to Query, but if it gets picked up by a publisher the final product will still be different - but even this "draft" has undergone multiple rounds of revision.
Out in the "real" (aka not Wattpad or other writing community sites) world, most of what you read is a "final" product. Rarely does anyone get a chance to see the PROCESS of writing.
The aim of this collaborative effort is to show you the good, the bad, and the ugly parts of writing in hopes that it will illuminate the truth and dispel the myth that talent = beautiful prose flowing out of your ass the moment you sit down to shit out that first draft.
Writer In Motion lifts the veil.
