2019 Revamp!
Architect|Designer|Parent by day, writer by [insert carved out niche of time here], aspiring author.

@The_Bookshop - creator/staff member (Come enter The Gauntlet or one of our prompt contests!)
I started writing in my mid-30s (2018), and have found it an immensely enjoyable and frustrating endeavor. I'm always trying to get better at it, and like to try a lot of different styles/genres/age ranges etc, and many of my children's books are inspired by my 3 (and a half) yr old.
I have degrees in Art, Anthropology, and Architecture - don't ask why I like careers that start with A, I don't know.
What to expect:

- I tend toward dark humor

- I write about complex (often uncomfortable) subjects, and don't shy away from cursing

- I am inspired by:

Neil Gaiman
Terry Pratchett
Tamora Pierce
JK Rowling
Jane Austen
Agatha Christie
Monty Python
Dr. Who
Arrested Development
The study of human behavior
Mythology and religion

- I have illustrated several of my books and plan to do more

- All of my works are original to me

- I don't do planned updates, R4R or V4V (sorry I'm Just not organized enough)

FEEDBACK: Give it to me baby!

I'm looking for honest feedback, so feel free to be brutal. I want to know what doesn't work, where you get bored/lost/etc.
