“AW, I remember when we were younger and you always hated the thought of love.” My sister laughed punching my shoulder lightly.

I rolled my eyes.

Just then a knock came out the door and Niall popped his head in, “Hey, you ready babe?” he asked me.

“Yea.” I stood up and said bye to the girls and went outside with Niall.

He started the car and took us to a place. But not just any place. This was the place where we had our first kiss, the place where Niall told me he loved me. We walked into the café and sat down at the table. Niall got us a muffin and we both shared it.

He then stood up and went to the mic stand. I laughed as he started to play.

“This song is dedicated to my girlfriend over there. I came here almost a year ago asking her to be my girlfriend and she said yes.”

He started to play the song Lego House by Ed Sheeran.

When he was done he smiled at me. “Now, I would like to ask her one more thing.” He got off the stand and walked towards me.

He went in front of me and went down on one knee. I gasped and put my hand over my mouth.

“Natalie Calder, I promise to love you forever and always, to be there for you. I promise to give you loving that you want, to hold you when you need to be held, to kiss you when want to be kissed, you give you space when you need it. I promise to put you first and always first. But most of all I promise to be yours. So, will you marry me?”

“Yes.” I choked out. He smiled and slid the ring on my finger. The people on the café clapped and congratulated us.

We walked out of the shop hand in hand. We got in the car and went home. Niall kissed em passionately on the lips and I kissed him back.

“I love you.” He whispered against my lips.

“I love you.” I smiled.
