15. What the hell is your problem?

Aiden's P.O.V

I let my eyes open slowly and then I got up and walked out of the guest room, heading downstairs my stomach grumbled, I smelled breakfast and quickly ran towards the dining room where everyone was already seated and eating

"Mornin" I said and I was greeted back as I took a seat in between Damian and Lyra, and a plate of food was already set for me and I started eating.

Everyone was having their own conversations while I was just sitting quietly "What do you think is the Joker's and the Scarecrow's purpose on making the serum?" I asked Damian

"I don't know, world domination or something, or maybe he just wants attention, He seems like the attention-whore type" he replied

"True. What is the plan for today?"

"I don't know but tonight is our first night to patrol with our groups"

"Seriously!? Both of my group members don't even talk to me"

"Maybe that's why my dad paired you guys up, he noticed the tension, he notices everything" He said matter-of-factly

"Whatever" I said as I grabbed my plate and silverware and walked towards the kitchen to wash my plate

"you can just leave it in the sink Mr.Kent, I'll wash them" Alfred told me "Nah, It's fine, I got it" He walked away as I started washing my plate, When I finished washing it I went to the guest bedroom and found my backpack and a suitcase placed on my bed with a note on it

You're going to stay here for 3 weeks since you are going to be training. I packed your clothes, toothbrush, etc.,

I crumpled the note and threw it in the garbage bin near my bed, I opened the suitcase and started unpacking, putting all the clothes in the drawers and the other stuff in the bathroom. When I was done organizing the room I changed into some dark jeans and a superman shirt. I walked out of the room and headed downstairs, I walked towards the front door and just as I turned the knob I was stopped by a voice calling my name

"Aiden!" I turned around and saw Bruce walking towards me with a blank face

"Yeah?" I asked

"Where are you going?" He asked

"Somewhere" I replied and he let out a stressful sigh

"What time will you be back?"

"Why do you care?"

"I'm responsible for you until the 3 weeks are over and I promised your dad to keep you out of harms way even if I wanted to kill you"

Harsh

"Fine, I'll be back by 5 and I'm just going around town to buy some stuff" I told him and I turned around, opened the door and headed out. I started walking out of the gates and into the city, I whistled for a taxi and it pulled up to the curb and I got in

"Where do you wanna go?" The driver said "Central Park"

"Okay, that'll be 15 dollars"

I gave him the money and he started driving into the traffic of Gotham city. After an hour in traffic I finally made it into the park. I opened the door of the cab and I got out

"Thanks man" I told him "No problem" the driver said and he drove away. I walked through the gates of the park and sat on one of the benches, I closed my eyes and took a deep breath

Finally, some peace and qui--

"Ahh!!" I heard a voice and I snapped my eyes open only to see two children playing tag and their parents watching them from a bench, I let out a sigh of relief. The whole time I was just watching the children play....(not in a pedophile way) in a way that made me contemplate my future

Will I have kids someday?, will I be
ready?, will I be happily married?

What am I talking about, of course I'll be married!, no woman can resist my good looks

Except Lyra........

She doesn't matter.... So what if I still like her?, I know that she doesn't like me..... And we aren't friends so I'm her enemy again

I got up from the bench and started walking out of the park, I headed towards the supermarket that was just around the corner. I walked inside the store, grabbed a shopping cart and headed into the chips aisle

Hmmm which one should I choose?

I just decided to grab 5 bags of classic Lays, nacho cheese Doritos chips, and 2 bottles of coca cola

I walked up the driveway of Wayne manor with my bags of groceries, I was shuffling in my pocket for keys and as I was about to open the door, the door opened by itself revealing some blonde dude with Lyra behind him

She is such a slut, how many dudes does she have to invite in her house?

I walked past them but I bumped my shoulder purposely against the guy "Excuse you" the guy said

"You're excused" I retorted and kept walking towards the kitchen to put away the groceries. I put away all the groceries and bags and Lyra walked into the room "What the hell is your problem?"

"What is my problem? What is your problem? I get that you want attention but you don't have to be a slut to get it"

"What are you talking about? How the hell am I a slut?" She asked, her face turning red from anger

"Well you seem to be inviting many men in your house, no doubt for a little quickie" I said with a smirk

"Look who's talking! You're the one who has sex with anything that has a vagina!" She yelled

"Well I'm a guy and I have needs so it's ok for me to do it"

"You are such an asshole!" She yelled and ran to her room, you could hear her door slam with great force
