Barry was on his usual optimistic self, knocking on Brad's room door and opened it.
He gave the Fire Chief a brief greeting as he clutched his clipboard and decided to jot down a few notes, checkig on his IV– he went to touch the Primary IV bag and jot down some progression again. Touching on the Secondary IV Bag, a voice spoke behind him. ❝ If I were an endoplasmic reticulum, how would you want me? Smooth or rough? ❞
Pretty much, Barry helplessly stumbled back from trying to reach the Secondary IV Bag, bringing the IV bag with him as he fell helplessly on Brad's bed. Eyes widened and sincerely frightened, he pushed himself away from Brad's chest and turned the other way away from his alluring brown eyes— coughing and momentarily choking on his own saliva for an obvious shy reason. ❝ Well well, Nurse Barry. How will you cure that clumsy personality of yours? ❞
❝ It cannot be cured, ❞ Barry playfully glared at him, sticking his tongue out as he hooked the Secondary IV bag on it's original place again. Completely embarrassed of what happened earlier he decided to do a little breathing, maybe that could work. But how would it? No one can deny how hot this guy is, especially his sharp jaw that can be pierced by anyone who is to touch it. His bushy eyebrows, his hard chest—
❝ Maybe you are suffering from a lack of Vitamin Me. ❞
Barry groaned, hiding his face with his white clipboard to which his patient decided to roar with laughter. Barry is absolutely terrified, this man could be bullshitting him right now– he could just be playing him and all. Barry knows he's homosexual, he's already embraced that and so did the Team Six, but he isn't sure if Brad was.
Afterall he is the womanizing Fire Chief of Central City's Fire Department. Brad could just be joking, maybe he just wanted to have some fun around as it has been two weeks and a half since he had arrived. Maybe he just needs that fun really, yeah maybe that was it.
❝ You look amazing today, Nurse Barry. You should smile often. ❞
Or maybe he is sincere.
