❝ So. . It's been two days. ❞ Aphrodite trailed off, munching on her tuna sandwich as she gave Barry a snide look. This time, the five founding doctors of her Medical Team turned their attention from their conversation then towards Barry.
The Team Six, as known, does have a lot of members in. In which these members does vary from profession to profession but in the line of physical and mental medicine. The founding doctors, which are Six of them, vary in profession as doctors like; Pulmonologist, Neurological Surgeon, Family Medicine Physician, Cardiac Electrophysiologist, Geriatric Medicine Specialist, and a Psychiatrist.
These people are the same intelligent folks who decided to take Barry under their supervision, they are the very same people who also helped the rest of the doctors in the their team and the Teams' Nurses. And even though they sound scary in entitlement, they have always been the one to act like children. Dr. Aubree, the Cardiac Electrophysiologist, turned her head to look at Barry. ❝ Now what Sorcery is this? ❞
Dr. Keaton, A Neurological Surgeon, nudged Barry. ❝ How pretty is this girl we're talking about? ❞
❝ Oh dear, Dr. Keaton. I'm not referring for a love story between Nurses and Patients right now, and definitely not a woman, Nurse Barry might have been fond of his own patient though. . Not that they're going to be together. . Well, yet. ❞ Aphrodite replied, earning booming laughters from her colleagues to which Barry suddenly felt like being swallowed by the ground.
New members or whenever the Team Six decided to supervise Nurses, they tend to let them eat or hang out on their own table which is just next to the other Doctors and Nurses. This is to make the new–comer to be comfortable as they should be with the old and new ones of the members. With no feeling of superiority from them at all.
Barry groaned, face palming as he did so. ❝ It's not like that. . ❞
❝ Then? What is it that you're ashamed of, Barry? I mean we're basically family here and we accept each other no matter what, so what is it? ❞ Dr. Mikhail, a Family Medicine Physician, asked. His blue eyes studying brown ones.
Barry sighed, ❝ I mean. . It's only been a week and a half, besides, he's just a really good company. Great even! We get to talk a lot you know? We corrected what was supposed to be the wrongs that we did in the past. . ❞
A hand then settled on top of Barry's, his gaze then shifted to the Psychiatrist. Dr. Madeline, who gave him a small smile. ❝ We're not hurrying you, Barry. It's only been a few days? Alright. For as long as you now started in a clean slate, what could be so wrong?❞
I am the fastest man alive, that's what's wrong. He thought.
