Revenge Part 2

"As noble as that is Sofia you need not worry..."

"You will not keep me out of this Klaus!" I stop him. "I have the power that may not stop all of the witches but I can fight with you. I will fight with you or die trying."

Klaus has ordered Rebekah to take Hayley to the plantation for her safety and the well being of our child. Weirdly enough she did not fight against this idea but Rebekah seems on edge. I have so much to worry about than them acting strange. Like things couldn't be worse. It seems that after we spoke to Kieran outside the church he was hexed by some witch. Now he is facing the same fate as his nephew. The possibility of going crazy and homicidal. Klaus calls me over the church to see if there's anything I can do to ease his pain or even lift the curse. I have little to no knowledge and experience of hexes but I will try anything I can to help a man who despite his judgments is a good person. Nothing we did worked. Klaus bleed Kieran of vervain but he still wanted to harm Cami and anyone else who got in his way. I tired any spell I could think of and even used Esther's grimoire but nothing worked. Klaus now believes the only way is to find the witch who did this and kill them. I try and stop him to think of another option but he races off before I could do anything.

I look for Klaus and finally find him and Marcel of all people beating each other to a pulp in the middle of the street. "Klaus!" I call out but he keeps fighting. "Stop this."

"I will speak with you in a moment Sofia." Klaus calls out.

"Stop this both of you." Klaus snaps Marcel's neck and I shake my head at him.

"I decide who lives and dies here, Marcellus."

"You did not need to do this." I'm in front of Klaus and he ignores me.

"Enough of this Sofia we need to go." He turns but before either of us could see it Sophie comes up and stabs him with Papa Tunde's knife. "Ahh!" Nik screams in pain and I go to his side but another woman appears in front of me. She blows something in my face and before I know it everything goes black.

"I'll take it from here."

"What will you do with Sofia?"

"You need not worry."

Elijah's POV

I was able to make it to the plantation house just in time to save Hayley from the fire the witches set for her. Now I'm hoping to find Rebekah but to my dismay, all I find is blood and wolves. "Missing something." I stand seeing Celeste walking towards me. "You won't hurt me. I'm the only one alone who can break the curse on Hayley's family." Now two more witches Genevieve and Bastiana walk up. "And Genevieve knows where your sister is. Bastiana has Klaus tucked away someplace safe. He's suffering horribly. I might add, and all because you chose to save the little wolf instead of your own blood." I take a step forward but Celeste raises her hand and I hear my bones cracking. I fall to my knees in pain. "What a horrific ending...to your pathetic, diseased family. I guess Always isn't forever after all. And by the way, if having your family's lives in jeopardy isn't enough for you. Thank you for giving us Sofia."

"What have you done to her?" I muster out through all the pain.

"You'll wish you valued her more. It is true the witches feared her power but now that we're strong enough I believe you'll taste that fear instead."

"What..." Celeste twists her hand and my neck snaps.

Sofia's POV

I continue to scream but nothing comes out. It's like the nightmares I had when we were trying to open Esther's coffin. Now it's ten times worse. "Get me out of here!" I scream but nothing happens. All I see is darkness and everything around me is cold.

"Wake her." I hear someone order but I have no idea who this person is. I can tell it's a woman's voice but not one I recognize.

"Can we do it?"

"We have the power to do anything now. Wake her." I feel my whole body burning as the darkness fades and I see this bright light.

"Ahhhh!!!!!" I scream and thrash around. I finally open my eyes and see myself strapped down to a table. I try a spell but nothing works.

"I wouldn't if I were you." Some redhead walks around peering down at me.

"Who..."

"The name's Genevieve and you're going to be in a lot of pain."

"What..." Someone grabs my head and it feels like I'm seizing. They continue to chant and I feel my body lose control. "Stop this." I scream but nothing stops the pain.

"Oh, we're only getting started." I can see some older creepy looking lady staring down at me. "I can handle it from here."

"What are you doing to me?" I somehow get out with staggered breathing.

"I'm making you into something you should have always been." She injects me with something.

"What..."

"You don't know what you are to the witches do you?"

"I heard you feared me."

"On the contrary we worship you. You are the very thing we've waited centuries for."

"I am nothing I..."

"Correction you were. Now you will be the leader we've always wanted." She forces some liquid down my throat. I feel my insides burning. All I wished was for the pain to stop. The lady leans down and whispers words into my ears and before I knew it things changed. It felt like a switch was made inside me. Everything I once loved and cared for faded away. All I saw was darkness.

"Is she ready?" I faintly hear Sabine's voice.

"Any second now."

"Will it hold?"

"Not forever but she will do what we need and then she will be of no use."

"Goodbye Sofia Gilbert." Sabine raises her hand and hits me in the face and I black out.

What do you think the witches did to Sofia? Also Monique was annoying to me and I wasn't that sad when Marcel killed her.
