the battlefield is set up
the soldiers all in order
the king and queen are guarded
the players have begun
the war is going steady
their strategies are played out
so far no one is winning
but there'll always be an end
one by one the blacks are out
the whites are surely winning
but then the black knight comes in
and beats them all in order
the white player's frustrated
he looks but doesn't realize
that the game is almost over
the king is trapped and cornered
