Devan's Pov
(Lol finally)
I did the iconic trick. I took some regular steps to the door and opened it then closed it again. I then quietly ran back to the door. I waited behind the door of where it opens out. I then watched the door open and an Ember head pokes out.
She then walked out and I ran up behind her and picked her up by her waist. I ran over to the couch and threw her down lightly. She wasn't laughing like normal. I decided to change things up. I grabbed her again and ran to my room. I threw her down on the bed and sat down next to her.
"Ember something is wrong... tell me"
She wouldn't make eye contact with me. I look down at my lap but then notice something. Her legs... She didn't??! Why?!
I looked up at her and her facial expression changed. I'm sure the look In my eyes changed as well.
"Ember Rose Woods you didn't!" I snapped at her grinding my teeth
A tear rolled down her face
"TELL ME YOU DIDN'T!" I snapped again
more tears streamed from her face
"I-I did" She choked
"Why?" I questioned still ticked
"Because of something," She said through her tears
"What is 'something'?" I asked her
"Somone," She corrected me
"Who!?" I asked
"Devan.."
"Imma go punch someone who ever did this to you," I said getting mad again
"Unless you wanna punch yourself I wouldn't bother," She said then quickly covered her mouth with her hands. She looked at me with sorrow in her eyes.
"Em?" I said, "What did I do?" I said emphasizing the I.
"Devan you don't get it do you!" She yelled
"What don't I get?!" I yelled back
"Devan I really really like you! and when you kissed me last night it lights me up like fireworks on the fourth of July! But this morning you acted as nothing happened. YOU Devan. You called me pretty and siad that you liked me too. But apparently not or else you wouldn't be acting like this. If you liked me you would have done something about it. Devan, you make me smile when I see you or hear your laugh. This isn't a crush okay? I completely fell down the hole of love. I fell so hard that I fell through the world and it spits me back out and I smacked the ground. but you don't feel the same!" She screamed at me
I took a step back. I looked at her blankly. I didn't know what to do. She closed her eyes as more tears slipped out
I cupped her face and wiped her tears with my thumbs. She opened her eyes and looked at me. I leaned in closer to her and rested my forehead against her's. I then lifted her face to mine and I kissed her. Not drunk, not tired, but with my sober-self where I could remember this. She kissed back. Our Lips fit together. One pressed against the other. When I pulled back I looked at her
"Ember, when we first met you made my heart flutter. You are so, so pretty. You are such an amazing person. I love your laugh, your smile, the way your hair falls in your face when you get angry. You are just so perfect and I couldn't find a flaw if I didn't like you. Em, I honestly think that I'm in love with you." I said to her as I wrapped my arms around her back. She hugged my neck. We fell backward with me falling on top of her. She laughed and I looked at her. I kissed the top of her forehead. and propped my arms up so I was hanging over her.
"God I love you Em," I whisper
She blushed.
"Ember?"
"Yes?"
"Will you go out with me?"
"yes." she giggled
